Manual Therapy

Manual Therapy is a skilled, hands on technique that improves movement in joints and soft tissue. Some of the techniques are joint mobilizations, manipulations, soft tissue mobilization, and instrument assisted mobilization.

Class IV Infrared Laser Therapy

Laser therapy is used for reducing inflammation, alleviating pain and accelerating recovery and healing.

Ultrasound

Ultrasound, uses acoustic energy, to provide two different effects. The Deep Heating Effect is used to provide deep heat to tendons, muscles or ligaments to increase circulation, and decrease pain. The Non-Thermal Effect is used to improve cell membrane permeability and realignment of collagen tissue.

Myofascial Release

Myofascial Release technique involves applying gentle pressure to myofascial connective tissue to reduce pain and restore motion.

Kinesio (trade mark) Taping

Kinesio taping is a taping technique to facilitate the body’s natural healing process while providing support and stability to the muscles and joints without restricting the body’s range of motion.

Systemic Dry Needling

Dry needling is a form of therapy in which monofilament needles are inserted into myofascial trigger points in muscles, tendons, ligaments, or near nerves in order to stimulate a healing response in painful musculoskeletal conditions.

NormaTec (Trade Mark) Compression Therapy

NormaTec is an innovative technology that uses dynamic compression to relieve muscle aches, and enhance blood flow. This technique is most suitable for post workout and post injury use.

Graston Technique

The Graston Technique is a form of manual therapy also known as instrument- assisted soft tissue mobilization. This technique is used with a stainless steel tool to perform muscle mobilizations by running the tool across the skin. The tools are used to break up fibrous or scar tissue to help restore mobility and function.

Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation

Also known as “NMES” uses electrical current to help stimulate muscle contraction. It is a tool to help re-educate muscle function after surgery.

Anti Gravity Treadmill

The Anti-Gravity Treadmill uses air pressure to enable a patient’s ability to walk or run looking to gain mobility, strength, and natural movement at a lower percentage of their body weight to minimize stress on the injury.

Sports Performancing Testing

Just Jump Mat, Speed Timers, Y-Balance Test, Triple Hop Test

3D Biomechanical Analysis

3D Biomechanical Analysis is used to improve form and function in order to reduce injury risk and improve movement performance.

Biodex Medical System

The Biodex test utilizes involves utilizing a computer assisted machine to assess a patient’s isokinetic strength. The biodex test can be used for any joint in the body, but is most frequently used for the knee joint after ACL surgery.
