Keith Meister, MD, is likely to perform elbow surgery on Carson Spiers, a pitcher for the Cincinnati Reds. Dr. Meister provided a second opinion on Mr. Spiers’ MRI, determining that surgery is needed to repair his right ulnar collateral ligament, according to a July 26 news release from the team.
